iPad 9th Generation Screen Replacement Singapore
The iPad 9th Generation (2021) features a 10.2-inch Retina display at 2160 x 1620 resolution with True Tone. The last standard iPad with a traditional design, Home button and Lightning port. A widely used device in Singapore. Our Grade A Retina panels restore original display performance including True Tone and Apple Pencil 1st gen support.
About the iPad 9th Generation Screen
Released in 2021 (model numbers A2602, A2603, A2604 and A2605), the iPad 9th Generation runs on the A13 Bionic chip and was the first entry-level iPad with True Tone. Its 10.2-inch LCD (264 ppi) is not fully laminated: the touch glass sits as a separate layer above the LCD, so a cracked front glass does not always mean the LCD underneath is damaged.
If the picture is still clear with no lines or spots, the damage may be limited to the glass. The Home button with Touch ID is moved to the new glass during the repair, and the Lightning port and Apple Pencil (1st generation) support are unaffected.
Repair time: 60 minutes | Warranty: 90 days
Signs Your iPad 9th Gen Screen Needs Replacing
Cracked or shattered front glass
Black spots, lines or dead pixels on display
Touch unresponsive or erratic after impact
Home button not working after impact
Display flickering or dim after drop
Run clear packing tape or a cheap screen protector over the broken glass so loose shards don’t cut your fingers or spread. If touch starts acting up, back up to iCloud or a computer before it stops responding completely.
