About the iPad Air 13-inch M2 Screen
Released in 2024, the iPad Air 13-inch (M2) was the first iPad Air offered in a 13-inch size. Its fully laminated Liquid Retina LCD runs at 2732 x 2048 and 60Hz with True Tone, P3 wide colour and an anti-reflective coating. Because the cover glass, touch layer and LCD are bonded into one unit, a cracked front glass is fixed by replacing the complete display assembly.
Touch ID sits in the top button rather than in the screen, so fingerprint unlock is not affected by the repair. The M2 iPad Air works with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), and both pair with the replacement panel just as they did with the original.
