About the OPPO A78 Battery
Released in 2023, the 4G OPPO A78 combines a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 680 chip and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC charging, unusually fast for an A-series phone. Frequent high-wattage top-ups are convenient but add heat, which speeds up battery wear over time.
A new cell restores the A78’s original endurance and full-speed 67W charging. The A78 5G is a different model (33W charging), so check About phone in Settings to confirm which version you have before visiting.
