About the MacBook Pro 16″ A2485 M1 Pro/Max (2021) Display
The 16-inch MacBook Pro A2485 was released in October 2021 with Apple’s M1 Pro or M1 Max chip. It has a 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display at 3456 x 2234 with mini-LED backlighting, ProMotion up to 120Hz and up to 1,000 nits sustained (1,600 nits peak) HDR brightness, plus a notch for the 1080p FaceTime HD camera.
Because the panel and glass are a single laminated unit, a cracked screen or pressure mark is fixed by replacing the display. Slight blooming around bright items on a dark background is normal for mini-LED. Confirm “A2485” on the underside of the case before booking, as the later M2 and M3 16-inch models use different model numbers.
