MacBook Air 13″ A2681 M2 (2022) Battery Replacement Singapore
MacBook Air 13″ A2681 M2 running out of charge too fast, or showing “Service Recommended”? We replace the A2681 battery with a Grade A battery for $130, usually in 90–120 minutes, with a 90-day warranty.
About the MacBook Air 13″ A2681 M2 Battery
The MacBook Air 13″ A2681 M2 is a MacBook Air with Apple’s M2 chip. Its battery sits under the keyboard, fixed to the top case, so it has to be released carefully to avoid bending or puncturing a cell.
Signs it is time for a new battery: macOS shows “Service Recommended”, maximum capacity has dropped below about 80%, the Mac shuts down suddenly at 20–30%, or the trackpad stops clicking properly because a swelling battery is pushing up from underneath. A swollen battery should be replaced straight away.
Price: $130 | Repair time: 90–120 minutes | Warranty: 90 days
On newer macOS, go to System Settings → Battery and click the ⓘ next to Battery Health to see maximum capacity. For the cycle count, hold Option, click the Apple menu → System Information → Power. Back up to iCloud or Time Machine before any repair.
