About the iPhone 14 Pro Max Back Glass
The iPhone 14 Pro Max launched in September 2022 with a 6.7-inch ProMotion Always-On display, the Dynamic Island and the A16 Bionic chip. Its back is textured matte glass in a stainless steel frame, sold in Space Black, Silver, Gold and Deep Purple.
Unlike the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, whose redesigned internal frame lets the back glass come off on its own, the 14 Pro Max keeps the older layout, so the whole phone has to be taken apart to fit new glass. MagSafe and Qi wireless charging work through the back, so a clean, flush fit matters.
