About the iPhone 12 Pro Max Back Glass
Apple released the iPhone 12 Pro Max in 2020 with a stainless steel frame and a textured matte glass back in graphite, silver, gold and Pacific Blue. Behind the glass sit the Qi and 15W MagSafe charging coil and the magnet ring, and the camera bump holds three 12MP cameras plus the LiDAR scanner. It is rated IP68 (up to 6 metres for 30 minutes) when undamaged.
Because the back glass is bonded to the frame, the old panel has to be removed carefully before the new one is fitted. After the repair, MagSafe accessories and wireless charging work as before.
