About the iPad 10th Generation Screen
The iPad 10th Generation (2022, model numbers A2696, A2757 and A2777) runs on the A14 Bionic chip and moved the standard iPad to a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display at 264 ppi, with USB-C and the front camera on the landscape edge. Like the 9th Gen, the display is not fully laminated, so the touch glass and LCD are separate layers.
Touch ID lives in the top button rather than the screen, so fingerprint unlock is not affected by a display repair. After replacement the iPad still works with Apple Pencil (USB-C) and with Apple Pencil 1st generation via the USB-C adapter.
