About the Huawei Mate 8 Screen
Announced in late 2015, the Huawei Mate 8 has a 6.0-inch IPS LCD with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. As the screen is a large flat LCD, the most common faults are cracked glass, black ink-like spots and touch that stops responding in patches.
Because the fingerprint reader is on the back, replacing the display does not affect unlocking. A new screen restores a clear picture and full touch across the whole 6-inch panel.
