About the Vivo Y36 Battery
Announced in May 2023 (model V2247), the Vivo Y36 pairs a Snapdragon 680 chip with a 6.64-inch 90Hz IPS LCD. The LCD panel and big 5,000mAh cell give it long screen-on time when new, and its 44W FlashCharge tops up around 30% in 15 minutes – but that same frequent fast charging is what wears the cell down over time.
The Y36 also supports reverse wired charging, which adds extra cycles if you use it to top up other devices. After replacement, 44W charging returns to normal, and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power key is unaffected.
