About the iPad 7th Gen 10.2
Apple released the 7th-generation iPad in September 2019. It has a 10.2-inch Retina LCD, the A10 Fusion chip, a Home button with Touch ID, a Lightning port and a Smart Connector for the Smart Keyboard. It supports the first-generation Apple Pencil.
Because the front glass (digitizer) is not laminated to the LCD, a cracked glass can usually be replaced on its own while the original LCD is kept. The Home button must be moved to the new glass, and only the original button keeps Touch ID working. The battery is rated at 32.4 Wh.
