About the Vivo V40 Pro Screen
Announced in August 2024, the Vivo V40 Pro uses a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel (1260 x 2800, 120Hz, HDR10+) rated up to 4500 nits peak brightness, driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+. It carries a 5500mAh battery with 80W wired charging and reads fingerprints through an optical sensor under the screen.
Because the glass curves over both long edges, side drops often crack the edge first and can leave a strip where touch stops working. Once the new panel is fitted, re-register your fingerprints for the fastest, most reliable unlock.
