About the Samsung S22 Plus Battery
Launched in February 2022, the Galaxy S22 Plus (SM-S906) pairs a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display running at up to 120Hz with a 4,500mAh battery. It supports 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 over USB-C, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for topping up earbuds or a watch from the back of the phone.
The battery sits beneath the glued glass back, so the rear panel has to be carefully heated, lifted and re-sealed during the swap. Your ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, data and settings are untouched. After the new battery is fitted, allow a few full charge cycles for the battery readings in Device Care to settle.
