Its 4,685 mAh battery is held in place with pull-tab adhesive strips, unlike the electrically released adhesive used on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
After a battery replacement, iOS may show a notice in Settings that it cannot verify the battery as a genuine Apple part. To help the new cell age slowly, you can use the 80% charge limit option under Settings > Battery > Charging.
