The iPhone 12 Pro (model numbers A2341, A2406, A2407 and A2408) launched in October 2020 as part of the first iPhone line-up sold without a power adapter, shipping only with a USB-C to Lightning cable. It supports 20W wired fast charging through Lightning, plus MagSafe wireless charging at up to 15W.
If MagSafe still charges the phone but a cable doesn’t, the problem is almost always the Lightning port itself: packed pocket lint, bent contact pins or a worn connector. After a repair, wired fast charging and computer sync should work normally again.
