About the iPad Pro 12.9 Gen 6 Battery
The sixth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro launched in October 2022 (models A2436, A2437, A2764 and A2766). It uses the M2 chip and a 12.9-inch 2732×2048 Liquid Retina XDR display with a mini-LED backlight and ProMotion, plus Face ID, a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port and Apple Pencil hover support.
Apple rates its built-in battery at 40.88 Wh. HDR video and heavy creative apps put a lot of load on it, so reduced runtime and sudden shutdowns are the usual signs of wear. The large display is adhesive-sealed and is opened with extra care for the battery swap, then re-sealed.
