DLSS & FSR (Upscaling)
Free performance — the technology that keeps mid-range GPUs punching above their weight.
Upscaling renders the game at a lower internal resolution, then intelligently rebuilds it to look near-native — typically gaining 30–50% FPS with minimal visual difference. DLSS is NVIDIA’s version and runs on all RTX cards (3060, 3070, 3080…) using dedicated AI hardware. FSR is AMD’s open version that works on almost any GPU, including the RX 6600 XT. It’s the main reason an RTX 3060 still runs new 2026 releases comfortably — turn it on in any supported game’s settings.
DLSS “Quality” mode at 1440p looks nearly identical to native and lifts a 3070 into high-refresh territory. Effectively a free GPU tier upgrade.
Not relevant to office software — but if the family PC doubles for games after hours, it’s a big bonus on RTX builds.
DLSS-Ready Builds
Every RTX build in the shop supports DLSS — from the RTX 3060 Budget Build up to the RTX 3080 4K Build. FSR on AMD: RX 6600 XT Wood Panel Build.
